Description

Learn from The Van Diemen Project about the power of LinkedIn, how to use it effectively and ways to keep your profile up to date.

LinkedIn is not often at the top of the list when you think about social media platforms to promote your business on, but it is a platform that gains traction for people and businesses where personal relationships are extremely important – and needs a little more effort than being set and forget.

Learn from The Van Diemen Project about the power of LinkedIn, how you can build your profile, how to use it effectively and some simple tips about keeping your profile up to date. This practical session will help you check how your own profile looks online and provide some quick ways that you can update how you are presented online to build new and stronger relationships.

The workshop will cover the following topics:

  1. Target audience of LinkedIn
  2. LinkedIn etiquette
  3. Establishing your LinkedIn profile

This LinkedIn Basics session is part of the Australian Government Small Business Advisory Service Business Resilience Program. The program is specifically designed to assist small businesses suffering the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis.

With Tasmanian small businesses looking to strengthen after the harder lockdowns due to COVID-19, it is also forcing businesses to look within to build skills within the team to better prepare to make the most of every single opportunity. So to help local small businesses, The Van Diemen Project is going to deliver a series of short, practical workshops to help business owners and employees in a range of areas to help businesses be more resilient and better placed for the future.
